OVERVIEW
The Radar Terrain Clearance Chart (RTCC) aka Radar Minimum Altitude Chart, is an aeronautical chart used by Air Traffic Controllers to indicate the lowest altitude to which an ATC may safely vector an aircraft. The chart is usually predicated on a navigation beacon such as a VOR/DME, and establishes areas based on radials and distances to which descent is allowed.
This RTCC is course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required to design RTCC’s.
